About Suzanne
I was working at a customer service job when a gentleman called on one of my lines. I gave my usual greeting with varied inflection, clear pronunciation and a smile- so as to not become too routine or speak too fast to understand- because I know what it’s like to struggle to understand someone and the importance of first impressions. The gentleman then asked me a few ‘yes or no’ questions, which I answered directly… after which he paused and asked if I was a computer…? I apologized at first but he insisted it was a compliment. A couple months later I came to understand his compliment…and eventually Voice Over work!
